Dr. Sumita Bhatia is a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist who joined Riverwest in December of 2019. She is returning to her hometown of Chicago after being in Los Angeles where she served as Medical Director of her clinic. She completed her residency at Mayo Clinic Rochester, MN.  She completed medical school at from University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine 6 year-BA/MD program and internship at UCLA- Harbor Carson, CA.  She treats a wide variety of disease sites with special interest in breast cancer and stereotactic radiation therapy. She has a keen interest in integrative medicine and often incorporates these approaches with patients.
